what’s next?

Well, you’ve come to the right place. Verbal Beginnings specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis, commonly known as ABA therapy.

1

check for available providers

If you’re interested in receiving ABA therapy covered by medical insurance, please contact us and let us know!

Our Client Relations Specialist (CRS) will gather information about your child and all information you if we have a provider available in your area.

2

intake process

Once we verify that a provider is available for you, our CRS will send you an insurance verification form via email. Please complete the form and send it back to our CRS. We will then contact your insurance company and find out what your plan benefits are in terms of Applied Behavior Analysis. This will include information on whether you have the benefit or not, and what your deductible, copay, and out of pocket maximum is. We’ll also be able to find out if an authorization is required.

3

authorization

The next step is to obtain an authorization. Many times, authorizations are required because Applied Behavior Analysis is monitored pretty closely by insurance companies to make sure it is medically necessary.

We’ll also send you some intake paperwork to fill out. This will give our clinicians some background information about your child so they have a good starting place when assessments begin.

4

assessment

Once we have all the information from you and from your insurance company, a Verbal Beginnings BCBA will contact you to get started with the Assessment and Therapy Process.
